As fall sports come to an end---are you planning your off season training?

If your in a fall sport, you're currently racing towards the end or are already at the end of your season. Of course you wanna rest up and take a little time to mentally and physically recover. But don't sit around too long!

I am a thorough believer that games are won or last in preparation and/or practice sessions (thanks Phil Jackson!). So as your recovering, begin to plan out your off season training for next season in your head.

Take time to reflect on the outcome of this past season, and consider your training goals this off season as you consider these things:
  • Did you meet certain team and personal goals this past season?
  • How was your conditioning at the mid-point and end of the season on a scale of 1-10?
  • In thinking about these three skills: speed, agility/quickness, and power, in what order do they rank in terms of where you need improvement?
  • How well did your last off season program prepare you for this season?
Those are just some factors to consider when mulling over your idea of what to do this off season! If you need some help shoot me an email at PerformanceSport21@gmail.com. Ill help you out!
