DB Squat and press for total body training


I am all about total body training for athletes when it comes to strength training. One of my favorite exercises that you can perform for total body strength is the DB squat and press. This move is totally applicable for all athletes.

Follow these cues:

  • Choose a moderate weight that challenges you
  • Explode from the bottom and press in one simultaneous motion
  • Once your standing with the press at the same time push on to your power pads (fore foot)
  • Feel free to rotate the DB throughout the movement
