Use your mental sports performance vision on training

....your lined up getting ready to perform a high knee drill moving forward through an agility ladder; you step up in a staggered stance, you lean forward pushing on your power pads (forefoot); then the coach says "Go!"

You drive through that ladder pumping your knees and elbows driving on and off your power pads, and although your mind is on the moment, what are you thinking of?

This is what your thinking of: YOUR SPORT. Picture in your minds eye drive upfield carrying the football for the score; picture your self weaving in and out of defenders with a soccer ball; see yourself exploding on the ice past your opponent.
